Public buildings have the task of creating identity and operating sustainably. Winston Churchill's well-known quote "First we shape our buildings, then they shape us" contains a deep truth. Educational and cultural buildings have a direct educational mission, even more so than other buildings. Aesthetics is a fundamental right in places of culture and education.
