"Haus am Park" Published in the Hugo Häring Book

The community housing project "Haus am Park" in Tübingen, designed by the architectural firms SOMAA in collaboration with Yonder and with the involvement of sociologist Gerd Kuhn, has received another special recognition: it has not only been awarded the Hugo Häring Prize by the Association of German Architects (BDA) but has also been included in the renowned Hugo Häring Book.

The inclusion of this project in the publication underscores its architectural and societal significance. The book documents outstanding buildings that are considered exemplary for architecture in Baden-Württemberg, making them accessible to a wider audience. The publication highlights the clear typology, architectural sustainability, and social relevance of "Haus am Park," which, through its innovative approach, fosters cohesion and integration within the neighborhood.

The jury of the Hugo Häring Prize emphasized the flexibility and durability of the solid structural foundation, as well as the appropriate scale with which the project is embedded into the urban context. It serves as an example of how architecture can shape not only spaces but also communities.

The Hugo Häring Prize is one of the most prestigious architecture awards in Baden-Württemberg. Since 1969, the prize has honored builders and architects for their joint efforts, and the book publication brings particularly successful projects into the spotlight.

We are proud to be part of this important publication and thank all those involved for their contribution to this exceptional project!
